High quality silk production lies with one prized species. The Bombyx Mori, a blind, flightless moth unique to China, produces a long strand silk thread which is considered finer than any other. Characteristics specific to our silk duvets include:

Is all silk the same? - Using only "Class One" Mulberry silk and a 100% cotton cover allows us to provide you with the highest quality silk duvets available. Our silk is produced on family owned silk farms which provide the utmost in care, attention and patience.
This results in long, thin strands of evenly colored pearly white silk.
We avoid lower grade silks which are made of shorter strands, appear to be low luster and yellow or gold in color and appear to have knots. Silks with these characteristics tend to have lesser heat retention and a lower life expectancy.

Care Instructions
Your silk duvet should require only minimal care and cleaning. Ensure the use of a duvet cover for better protection, longevity and in maintaining the limited warranty. There are only a few things to remember in caring for your silk duvet:
Ensure the use of a duvet cover
Can be fluffed in the dryer without heat for 20-30 min
Can be aired outside in the sun for a few hours
Dry clean only (in very special cicumstances but try to avoid)
Limited Warranty
For a term of five (5) years, we warrant that the materials and workmanship of our silk duvets will be free from defects. The warranty does not include any damage or conditions resulting from misuse, accidents, abuse, neglect, normal wear and tear or non-compliance of the care instructions.
Use of the duvet without a duvet cover will void the warranty.
